Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 5 Year: 2021 - 2022

As part of our Rainforest topic, we visited Chester Zoo to find out more about what animals live in each layer of the rainforest and more about their habitat. 

During our workshop, we explored products that we get from rainforests around the world (such as medicines and rubber), classified animals, designed our own rainforest animal and discussed the effects of deforestation. 

We then explored the zoo, looking for animals that we would find in the rainforest. We also saw lots of other animals that live in different biomes/habitats.
