National Reflection Day: Tuesday 23rd March

We have been celebrating it at St John's by reflecting on the Easter Story and the events during Holy week. 

We looked at Good Friday and what happened during this day. We made a cross using sticks and rope to represent the cross that Jesus died on. We visited our Easter garden that Mr and Mrs Corbett have been busy creating. It was fantastic! We lay our crosses along the wall. We also looked at our Easter chatterbox and all of the items that symbolise Easter. In the afternoon, we made hand cards that Mr and Mrs Corbett had prepared for us. Inside, we wrote what we were thankful for to Jesus. 

We've had a special day today and it has been interesting spending time remembering why we celebrate Easter.
