Botanic Gardens Trip for Art

Year 4 visited the Botanic Gardens as part of our Art, Photography unit of work. We have been practising capturing landscape images and thinking about the different techniques we can use to capture a great shot. We have looked at various Landscape Photographers and have been inspired by the work of David Hockney and his collage technique called 'joiners'. We have looked at how he created the joiners collage and practised ways of creating our own joiners style art. Here are our pictures that we took at the Botanic Gardens. The children are going to use their images to create a joiners style effect, influenced by David Hockney's piece of artwork 'Pearblossom Highway'.
