Year 4 Home Learning

Please find below a range of FREE educational activities for your child to complete during the school closures. This page will continue to be updated when more resources become available.

Whilst many of the resources/activities listed below are accessible for primary aged children in general, some are recommended based on the Year 4 objectives from the National Curriculum. Please use and amend to suit the needs of your child.

Your child will have been provided with a school reading book. Otherwise, any suitable text at home would be sufficient. This can be recorded in your child's reading record.

A list half-termly spellings are available on the class page, along with a downloadable file of the Year 4 Common Exception Words.

Now would be the perfect opportunity for your child to write creatively! This could be fiction or non-fiction, stories, poetry, newspaper reports, persuasive texts...the list goes on! If your child would like to send what they have created, please email and it will be shared with myself, Miss Moss.

Your child will have a login for Times Table Rockstars and/or Numbots. Thesesites are available on an internet browser or via the free app. Please also use websites that we have been using to practise times tables: mathsframe, timestables or topmarks.
