School Council

Our Work

Each year we nominate two representative from each year group, from Year 2 to Year 6, to share the views and ideas of our classes.

Being on the School Council gives us the opportunity to discuss and make decisions about issues that affect us, our class and our School, so we all have a part in making our School and Community a better place.

So far this year .....

We organised a competition to  design and make posters to discourage dogfouling in our local area. Marley Hall was the winner! We also wrote to the local council and they have sent patrol officers to look around.

For Children in Need in November we raised money by organising a 'Spotty Day' where everyone came dressed in spots and played 'Spotty' games in the afternoon. They also did a Pudsey Bear trail.

On February 9th, School Council will be having a 'Wacky Hair Day'. More details to follow...
